Ethics & Responsibility
At D-FY.IT, we don’t chase trends. We build gear that lasts—and we do it with care for the people who make it and the planet we all share.
1. Built to Last, Made to Be Used
Most environmental damage in fashion comes from overproduction and short product lifespans. We design our products to be durable, versatile, and timeless—so you can buy less and use more. Every detail of our gear is engineered for long-term use, not landfill.
2. Reducing Our Footprint
Logistics often make up a large share of a product’s carbon footprint.
We actively reduce our CO2 impact by:
- Consolidating shipments to avoid wasteful transport
- Manufacturing close to supply chain partners where possible
- Avoiding air freight whenever timelines allow
- Limiting packaging to essentials, using recyclable materials
We’re constantly reviewing our logistics choices to reduce emissions across the board.
3. Animal-Free by Design
Despite being a premium product, our backpacks are completely vegan.
We deliberately avoid leather trims or animal-based materials — without compromising on durability or feel. High-performance synthetics give us the quality we need, without the ethical baggage.
4. Fair Working Conditions
We partner only with manufacturers and suppliers who share our values on ethics and transparency.
Our main production partner operates under internationally recognized labor standards. These include:
- Safe and healthy working conditions
- No child or forced labor
- Fair wages and reasonable working hours
- The right to collective bargaining
We perform regular in-person inspections of our key facility to ensure these standards are upheld—not just on paper, but in practice.
5. No Greenwashing. Just Progress.
We don’t pretend to be perfect, and we don’t believe in hollow sustainability claims.
Our focus is on tangible, measurable impact. When better materials, processes, or practices become available, we adopt them. When mistakes happen, we own them and improve. Ethics for us is not a one-time claim — it’s built into how we operate, every day.
